Reebelo expands its management team

Reebelo is pleased to announce its newest additions to the team. Former Zilingo and Lazada leader, Yan Chan has now joined Reebelo’s management team to support the expansion as the business grows across APAC. 

Founded in 2019 by CEO Philip Franta and CPO Fabien Rastouil, Reebelo is Singapore’s first marketplace for refurbished electronics. At Reebelo, customers can buy high-quality pre-owned technology devices that come with warranty, all refurbished by experts who control +40 checkpoints. 

The recent hire of Yan Chan, former Zilingo and Lazada heavyweight, comes on the back of an impressive growth spurt for the startup, which has now also expanded its operations to Australia.

Commenting on her appointment Yan Chan says: “My career thus far has focused on helping retail vendors to sell and grow online across SEA while providing logistics solutions for the smoothest customer experience. As part of Reebelo’s expansion plan, the company has just launched in Australia, led by Gulrez Tyebji. Tyebji, Reebelo’s MD for Australia, has over 12 years of industry experience in the APAC region and has played an integral part setting up the supply chain of used devices in the region, working with major Telcos, Distributors, Manufacturers and Retailers, prior to his appointment in Reebelo.

The appointment of Yan and Gulrez follows Reebelo’s most recent $1.25 million seed round funding announcement back in June 2020.
