Dyson DC41 Animal Bagless Vacuum Cleaner

OVERVIEW: The Dyson DC41 Animal Bagless Vacuum Cleaner has received mixed reviews from customers. While some users have praised its suction power and ability to clean high pile rugs and shaggy rugs, others have expressed disappointment with its performance and build quality. One common issue mentioned by users is the vacuum's inability to effectively handle pet hair, despite being advertised as a pet vacuum. Customers have reported that hair tends to get clogged in the brush bar area, making it difficult to clean. The vacuum also struggles with picking up solid particles, requiring multiple passes to effectively remove debris. Build quality is a major concern for some users, with reports of the plastic parts breaking and the cover on the ball falling off. Some customers have expressed frustration with the vacuum's handle, which often requires multiple attempts to stay in the upright position. The hose and pipe attachments for reaching crevices and ceiling areas have also been criticized for being stiff and difficult to use. Customers have found it challenging to prevent the hose from retracting while attempting to clean hard-to-reach areas. However, there are positive aspects mentioned in the reviews as well. The vacuum is praised for its strong suction power when cleaning floors, and users appreciate the bagless design and easy cleanup. The long cord provides ample reach, but some customers find it a bit cumbersome as it is not retractable. Overall, the Dyson DC41 Animal Bagless Vacuum Cleaner presents itself well with its marketing and design, but falls short in terms of performance and reliability. While it may be suitable for vacuuming certain types of rugs and floors, it struggles with handling pet hair and solid particles. The flimsy build quality and difficult-to-use hose attachments further hinder its usability.
